The 20th Anniversary of the Madden series is here – and legendary Quarterback Brett Favre is gracing the cover.

A first in Madden history, Brett Favre will go down as the only retired player (aside from Madden himself) to be so prominently pictured.

  NFL has it’s place … but here? Nothing’s sacred anymore. What’s next – Hockey? (I hope it’s hockey, as that’s probably my second favorite sport). I do have to put my vote against an Offside Madden tournament, but that’s just one codgery old fist-shaking purist talking.

  Its on here because its a sport.

  But keep yer shorts on – I am getting new UEFA stuff as we speak.

  And just to clarify – the video game blog is all sports inclusive.

  Ian – I am definitely covering hockey – Im a huge long suffering islander fan who plays a rather large 240lb right wirng NHL is probably the second best sports game to FIFA out there (my opinion).
