The Offside EA UEFA 2008 - The Elite Eight

Welcome to the round of eight!

I would like to congratulate all of you one your fine play.

If someone were to have told you that FRANCE, ITALY and SPAIN would not advance in this tournament, you would have taken the bet immediately. But here we are. And they are not.

And interesting seeding for this tournament, highlighted, I think, by a Portugal v. Croatia clash.

Groups will be emailed out tonight. Sign in, and lets things started.

DEADLINE FOR THIS ROUND WILL BE MONDAY @ 12am MIDNIGHT!

And this round is a simple one and done format - so get online, play your game, and maybe we can advance this tourney fast enough to catch up to real life!

Again, congrats to all the players.

  That was a tough one. Went with the Croats because they played more (not your fault).

  At least you dont have to play Portugal!

  this is gettin interesting……and ironic cuz the only two teams in here that actually qualified in the real euro to the quarter finals are portugal and netherlands…..the other six including myself were teams that got disqualified…..oh well at least i got the team that won the last euro even though i wouldve done way better if i had italy….just ask phil lol

  ok dave its 12 here and im online and this guy tubbysuckersen who plays with netherlands is not on and i saw him on earlier today and sent him the invite which he didnt accept bc i guess he was away not to mention the past 3 days ive sent invites and tons of msgs to him…i sent him two msgs asking him what time he was gonna be available to play so i could go on at the same time and he never answered any of em! i really wanna play him so if u could extend the deadline but tell him to go on itd be great!
