What Would I Do With a Video Game Company?
By: Sneakers O'Toole | June 9th, 2009
Do you have suggestions for EA on what to improve for the next installment of FIFA? Do you want to feel like you’re being heard?
The Mic is in your face. Tell us what you want to see change or be improved.

Copy and Paste what you said into the comments, and I will add them to this post if they are new and/or awesome. Miss South Carolina may only have moronic statements to contribute, but I expect much better out of the good souls at The Offside.
It’s almost like she would work on the EA staff. She mentioned South Africa, and guess where the World Cup is going to be! Yeah, she’s on top of things.
Some of my favorites are…
-’Build a stadium’ mode
-Create you own team (a la PES, although FIFA 06 gave it a shot if I remember correctly)
-More realistic ball physics (ball spin on every kick)
-Be able to create players using a camera (a la PES)
-A more realistic crowd. Come to think of it, 02 had flares in the stands and flags waving ferociously in all of the stadiums, what up?
-Managers shots and bench shots in general
-Futsal arenas (not gonna happen, but it would add an interesting element to the game, why buy FIFA street then?)
-More frequent injuries, more severe injuries; it’s more realistic
-”You can tell where you are by what the goals look like, a variety of different goals would be nice.”
-More realistic weather
-”Players should react to the climates and wear gloves during winter and short sleeves etc during the summer.”

There are always alot of complaints online when it comes to starting a “Be A Pro Team Match” There is always that one guy who takes forever to ready up. There should be a majority needed to start the match no the entire group. Say is 19 of the 20 people in the room are ready don’t make everyone wait another 3 minutes to start the game.
I notice in manager mode if you max out a players ball spin under player skill or get it in the 90’s you will notice it on every pass from that player. works nicely on the wings when delivering a through ball to a striker when you have no angle.
a 5 or 6 a side mode would be cool… Make it even better when you add the “be a pro team play” element.

This is what I wrote:
1.Allow goalies to get red cards! I’ve seen goalies take down a player as the last man and only get a yellow.
Also, I’ve seen goalies use their hands outside the box and not get penalized.2. Increase player reaction times. In general, player movements are too slow in FIFA 09. Every move must be planned out well in advance, which prevents from doing quick moves to evade defenders.
3. Improve the camera so you can see when the goalkeeper charges at you.
4. Improve movement while sprinting
5. More intelligent off-the-ball runs.
6. Adidas Live Season scores are messed up: When I start the game Dirk Kuyt is an 84 at right-mid. When I pause and go to Team Management his (and other players’) ratings are all changed.

I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but all my players get super tired in manager mode. I was playing with LA Galaxy and I played the matches, not simulated. My players could not last more than 3 consecutive games without going to red on their stamina level. I rotated my entire squad until I could not even field 11 players, so I had to quit.

in manager mode, how about a a weekly highlight show of all the best goals, saves, etc? Espn NFL 2k5 did this, it was cool.

Yeah, George, I don’t know what it is, but EA and Konami both do it. Players get worn out playing one game a week. In FIFA you can get a top notch training staff, and it won’t happen, but a more realistic fatiguing formula would be welcome. Not everyone’s trainers massage the players’ muscles with axes like Roma’s do.
