UEFA is now AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE! Tourney soon?

By: Dave Martinez | May 21st, 2008

So we can finally get our grimy little hands on the UEFA game!

And I thought this day would never come!

UEFA Euro 2008 by EA Sports is an enhanced form of their FIFA 08 engine, and focuses on the premier European nations tournament.

The full European rosters are included, and you have your pick of the European litter.

Amongst its many features, you can have online tournaments. So I would suggest to all of you – pick up this game, start sharpening up your skills – and get ready for THE OFFSIDES EURO CUP 2008 (name may be tinkered with, but you get the idea).

We will see you in the virtual arena!

    Oh, that’s right. Heh.

Seriously, I might upgrade to LiveGold in order to play in an online Euro tourney. Can I get dibs on Spain?

No no, we arent calling yet. I am thinking of giving everyone three weeks to sharpen up. Then, we start calling dibs.

And I will base it around the real life games – meaning, no group draw this time. just the real life configurations.

Dave – Why not schedule this as the real tournament plays? That will be in two weeks, should be possible and would add another element to the tournament
