Cool, but I don’t want to pay 800 microsoft points for 5 weeks of updates.

Its a decent idea. But I don’t want to spend MORE money on the game.
I’d rather that money go into more varied stadiums. I’d love to play a game at Giants Stadium or Ewood Park over “Estadio de las Artes” for the millionth time.

I am going to use just the free one and take the EPL. Might as well take advantage of the offer.

That’s a pretty cool idea but from what I’ve read from other comments paying for it might suck unless you stick to just one league.

But then again, I don’t own an xbox. Even then, why would I need to get one when I have Nintendo 64? World Cup 98 forever.

The one league most would go for is EPL and end it there. And to me, its no surprise there is an extra fee, since XBOX especially seems to cater to spending extra dough while playing the system (how many of us havent bought songs for Rock Band?)

Is it clear which league updates they’ll give away for free?

I believe its your choice from what the video says. So most will take EPL, and the hardcore of us will go for others (la liga!)

Dave you biased piece of crap. Just because you prefer FIFA, you think that gives you the right to ignore Pro Evo on the video games blog. Either rename this the FIFA Blog or stop being such a biased piece of crap. Now that I come to think of it, you just use this blog as your personal opportunity to blog about any sports video games YOU like. Pathetic.

Biased piece of crap? Pathetic? You do realize we are talking gaming right? And there is no Pro Evo release to speak of? Or a resounding call for a tournament to be played on this platform of yours? Pathetic? Pathetic is someone who gets so riled up over a game not being covered. Instead of throwing a fit, ASK why it hasnt been covered. Biased piece of crap . . . wow. Get a life.

I agree with Pro Evo. It hasn’t been covered because you don’t play it. You can hide behind other reasons but there’ve been more NBA posts than Pro Evo posts. And plenty of Pro Evo news for this year’s release. Go and look for it and make a post!

there ya go, that’s got to warrant a blog post given what has led to posts for fifa. and a thought. maybe if you covered it here, pro evo fans would read this blog, and then there would be calls for a tournament.

Sheps and Pro Evo, I think you both should go out for a walk, maybe get some fresh air, see the sun at least once before the summer is over.

That is some lame ass reasoning to rag on someone guys. Video games, man. We’re talking video games.

    Dear Matthew,

I am incredibly intrigued as to how you have come to the conclusion that I haven’t seen any sun yet this summer.

Could you please explain step by step the logic and reasoning that you invoked to come to this astonishing conclusion, starting with the content of my post.

Given this, your comment about “lame ass reasoning” certainly takes an ironic twist.

    Regards,
    Sheps

honestly pro evo guys i dont want to get into some sort of flame war but yesterday the fifa guys announced something that basically makes pro evo devoid of any consideration of purchase.

it’s just totally mindblowing if it comes off well at all. so insane!

So from what I got from Wikipedia, you get Live Updates for one league of your choice for free until the end of the 08-09 season.

sorry for my absence guys – and yes, I cant hide the fact I dont play Pro Evo lol. Ill give it a shot, but its a purchase that will be made AFTER I get FIFA 09!

I can admit a bias – but not to be called names. Thats dumb. Call me out – but dont call me names (since we arent in the school yard anymore, ya dig?)

I have a post coming up soon. Stay tuned.
